Early voting begins on Monday, August 13th throughout Miami Dade County. Many of our members have expressed interest in getting involved and during more. I wanted to help assist members engagement on the campaigns of candidates LCA has endorsed by centralizing campaign needs for each candidate so that information is accessible. We reached out to every endorsed candidate, some responded, some did not. For those that did not, I searched for more information on how to volunteer so that every endorsed candidate can be supported by our members who chose to assist. If folks would like to make financial contributions please reach out to the campaigns directly. Also, LCA will have comp cards available for polling sites. Please RSVP with me if you would like to volunteer and pass out LCA comp cards. Lets get busy!
Govenor
Andrew Gillum–To get involved with the Gillum campaign, LCA members are encouraged to attend the Volunteer Summit this Saturday August 11th 2 pm at the Miami Gardens Office:

House District 103
Cindy Polo: The campaign for Cindy Polo has requested volunteers to assist with canvassing on Saturdays. As the primaries get closer the campaign will be starting weekday canvassing and LCA members are encouraged to volunteer. LCA Members are needed to volunteer at key polling sites during early voting to help generate visibility and enthusiasm. Lets turnout to support our member and a candidate who served on our behalf.
FL House District 115 James Schulman
Schulman is walking the district every day through the 28th and will welcome anyone that wants to join. The Schulman team is organizing specific canvassing days this Sunday (the 12th) and the next two weekends. More details will be provided by the Schulman campaign. I am happy to connect interested volunteers directly with the campaign. Please respond with commitments and interest.
