WHAT CAN LABOR EXPECT FROM THE BIDEN ADMINISTRATION IN THE STATE OF FLORIDA
Thursday, April 29, 2021 via Zoom at 7:00 p.m.
The purpose of the Labor Forum is to listen to the ideas of others on what labor unions need to do in order to fulfill President Biden’s campaign promises.
To be fair, President Biden’s administration is cleaning up the mess at the NLRB. Also, the head of the US Labor Department is a union member. But is this enough?
The vital need is to revitalize the infrastructure of this nation, which will create millions of jobs. The need to protect workers’ rights to organize, secured pension plans, etc. The Labor Forum is a grand opportunity to learn from labor leaders as to the most pending issues/concerns facing their memberships, and what follow up actions are needed to take place.
