VOTING DURING THE PANDEMIC

Deadline to Register to Vote October 5th.

Planning to Vote in the GeneralElection during these challenging times of the pandemic.  This may raise thoughtful health concerns for the best manner to ensure your safety and the safety of your family members.  Fortunately, you have options to participate in the upcoming election process.

For vote-by-mail ballot requests,

State law requires that the ballots be sent to voters who already have requests on file your ballot should be mailed during September 24 and October 1.  Vote-by-mail ballots maybe mailed through the USPS or returned (and delivered) at a secure drop boxes at the Supervisor of Elections’ main and branch offices and early voting sites.

Early Vote

By law, early voting must be held at least for 8 days. (The mandatory early voting period)  Each county’s Supervisor of Elections may offer more days of early voting from one or more of the following days:  October 19, 20, 21, 22, 23 and November 1

Voters who want to vote early should present the following at the early voting site:

•a valid photo identification; and

•a signature identification.

Voters can vote at any early voting site within the county when the site is open.
